I've mentioned that we ride bikes to school every day. Well, Ellie Grace has literally worn out her bike. Her current bike has training wheels and one of the wheels is eroding. I have tried taking the training wheels off, but this stress her out because the bike doesn't have a kick stand. She won't have anything to do with it. So, in hopes of getting her to ride "a big girl bike", I surprised her with new wheels yesterday. She loves it. Her favorite feature, "the kick stand"! LOL! She did pretty good on it. Hopefully it won't be long before she's proficient enough that we can ditch the old bike.

they only use the kickstand until they realize the ground will indeed catch the bike when they jump off and toss it over.... LOL
